On the surface the Arabian Peninsula is a desolate desert devoid of any life where the inhabitants must etch out a rough existence, while the later is true the Peninsula is home to a vast array of life and has an intricate ecology of its' own. This video seeks to weave together the complex relationships that dominate the Arabian Peninsula, where resources are scarce unless you know where to look, and animals must conserve their energy and have developed muscular responses and patterns of feeding which have helped them survive for thousands of years. The video also follows the Bedouins,( a form of Nomadic traders who's way of life has changed vary little since the days of Muhammad and before.) as well as their relationship with the geography and environment of the Arabian Peninsula. *If you do not have the opportunity to finish the video in class please do so at home or on your own time, it contains a wealth of information that could be referenced to in the future.
