No we're not talking about Resident Evil, this week. Instead we will be covering something all the more terrifying... THE BLACK DEATH ! (cue the crazy halloween screams!) A pandemic which spanned from Asia to Europe and even into the tops of Africa, and in many European towns and cities would wipe out two-thirds of the population. This week we will be focusing on this horrific disease and the consequences of it's spread throughout the medieval world. We will also be discussing medical treatment during the middle ages and how some of those ideas would lead to discoveries in modern medicine. Don't miss a class!
